Paulo Coelho invites to pirate his books

22 January, 2012

Flag of Blackbeard

Paulo Coelho not only suggests to pirate his books. He even set up a website where he posts links to pirated versions of his creation. Despite liking real pirates much more than today’s whimsy nerds, like myself I can only second Coelho’s statement “a good idea doesn’t need protection”.
His thoughts on piracy and freedom are well worth reading, check them out under paulocoelhoblog.com.

I proudly say, I have not spent one penny on CDs or DVDs in 10 years. Instead, I have donated multiple times to Wikimedia Foundation and supported projects which I find deserve it.

This is the personal log of Martin in Holland.

I've studied Aerospace Engineering in Berlin and have now moved to Leiden to work for ESA. Here I want to keep track of my time in the Netherlands and jog down first impressions and second thoughts.
